Fractures, is a unique story about a teenage girl destined to be a reporter. This tense thriller has many twists and turns that come together in a believable fashion. Each actor brings depth to the film and is in it for the reason. When the murder happens the town is in an uproar and fingers are pointing at everyone, even the children. “Fractures” has a fashionable style and has great performances. The ending is heart-pounding. It is realistic. Even though the movie is called “Fractures”, thank God that it comes out in one whole piece. Jennifer Tilly and Alexis Bledel and Kate Winslet are all terrific and act well beyond their years. Newbee Paul Dano shows us why he should be in Hollywood and Orlando Bloom’s performance in this is better than in Pirates. Film of the year and eternity.
